PFAS battle continues

Jane Marwick

Concerned Bullsbrook resident, Colin Butland has been receiving bottled water for three years, after PFAS was discovered in the water in his local area. “The contaminated source area of Gingin is seven and a half kilometres from Perth’s water bores, we’ve been speaking with defense and they said it’s not in those bores, yet.” – Colin Butland explained to Jane.

WA Water Minister, Dave Kelly joined Jane to talk about what the state government are doing about the contaminated water. “The basic principal is that the polluter should pay and the Commonwealth are the polluter, it’s incumbent on them to come up with a long term answer for this issue.”
