If you’ve tried to book a holiday to Rottnest in the past month, you probably didn’t have any luck because the online booking system has been down for a month!

Tourism Minister Paul Papalia told 6PR Breakfast: “Yeah, it it true. I’m told the IT service provider for this system, they’re based in Singapore. The system has been in place since 2013, they were going to upgrade it and it was due to be upgraded in August for some reason… the service provider chose to shut it down early and as a consequence the book online bookings aren’t available.”
