More school for student teachers

Millsy & Karl

There’s a push for student teachers to do more in-class training before they graduate to make them more in-class ready.

“If you graduate we have to be confident that you’re a good teacher; that you’re ready to go into the classroom,” Edmond Missen, the deputy CEO of the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership, told 6PR Breakfast.
“What the Government’s very keen to do is to make sure that’s properly assessed and that it’s assessed at the same standard across country,” Mr Missen told 6PR.

Our listeners told us some amusing stories of some less than ideal teachers they had at school.
