Mining Museum for Perth?
A plan to turn the Old East Perth Power Station into a mining museum has been put forward by a former State architect and says the $100 million plan will attract international visitors.
The man behind the idea, Steve Woodland, told 6PR Breakfast “our city needs to be a reflection of who we are” and mining is one of the fundamental parts of WA.
Steve and Baz then asked our listeners what museums and other places did you go to during a school excursion. Kevin told us he want to the Dingo Flour mill and Joel said he went to the Weetbix factory as a kid.
