Millions of Medicare money up for grabs

Australians are owed $110 million in unpaid Medicare rebates, but it’s a simple process to claim it back.

“In this instance, it’s just a matter of people updating their bank account with us,” Minister for Human Services, Michael Keenan, told 6PR Breakfast.

“They’ve gone and got the service, we’ve got the rebates sitting in our account ready to go, all they need to do is tell us their bank account is and it’s very simple to that, you can literally do it in 60 seconds and we will pay them in 48 hours,” Minister Keenan told Steve and Baz.
