A 32-year-old man has been stabbed near the neck with a screwdriver while he was out in Fremantle with his young daughter last week.

“Joe” was in Fremantle last week when he was approached by someone holding a bottle and a screwdriver and yelling threats.

“This wasn’t a mugging… didn’t try to get my phone or my money or anything like that. It just went straight to threats of violence,” he told 6PR Breakfast.
