“Love, caring, kindness and respect”- Words to live by

Russell Collett

82-year-old Elizabeth Herbert was the recipient of a random act of kindness this week when she received a note from a mystery girl.

She was shopping at Midland Centrepoint when a young girl handed her a note that said “hope you are ok during this time. Be Safe.”

Ms Herbert joined The Weekend Catch-Up where she told Mark Gibson she would love to find the girl’s parents to tell them what a fantastic job they’ve done.

“What they have instilled in her is absolutely wonderful and I think she will carry that through her life.

“There’s four things I have always practiced through my life – love, caring, kindness and respect.

I am a strong believer in karma.”
