The new Perth Stadium will have a local company supplying the beer, but the events company who has been working with Subiaco Oval has missed out on  the audio and visual production contract.

Michael Lloyd from Lloyd Events told Steve and Baz, “We got told on Thursday that we’re not the preferred supplier/tender,” Mr Lloyd said on 6PR Breakfast.

With the contract more than likely going to a South Australian company, Mr Lloyd says his company and the local economy will lose out.

“It’s definitely going to be a hit, on a sporting day at Subi Oval our group would have seven full time staff and probably 13 part time staff so that will certainly be a hit to the local employment there.”
