Legal stoush brewing over the cancelled travel plans of thousands of Aussies

Slater and Gordon is calling on people who may be interested in joining a class action lawsuit taking aim at the nation’s airlines.

The law firm argues airlines are in breach of consumer law by only offering passengers – whose flights are cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak – travel vouchers when they’re entitled to full cash refunds.

Practice Group Leader Andrew Paull told Gareth Parker on Mornings they’re hopeful the airlines may fix the problem themselves.
