Premier Mark McGowan and Education and Training Minister Sue Ellery today announced Bob Hawke College as the name of the new high school at the former Kitchener Park site in Subiaco. The $71 million dollar high school will open its doors to 250 year 7 students next year, with Subiaco Oval to be used as its playing fields.

“I think it’s appropriate that we acknowledge Bob as a West Australian in the area in which he grew up, and hopefully inspire the students that go to that school onto academic excellence.” – Premier Mark McGowan told Michael and Carmen.
