The humble family home could force retirees into a losing pensioner payments if Governments were to follow the report being released today.

A superannuation consultant says the home needs to be taken into consideration when it comes to our welfare system.
“Really, a significant part of the home is in fact an investment. I’m not saying that we take away things from people, I’m just saying we might restructure and make life more equitable between home owners and renters,” Michael Rice told 6PR Breakfast.
