How to keep pesky seagulls away from your food

A direct stare is all you have to do to keep those pesky seagulls away from your food.  The research was done in the UK but Ian Temby, Wildlife Management Consultant and seagull expert says it applies to Australia’s silver gulls as well.

Ian says that by staring at the seagulls they are less likely to approach you because they “have intelligent, small brains but they work well”. Ian also encountered an incredible story that while carrying out his research in seagulls nests they actually begun to recognise him and pick him out of a crowd to swoop and poo on him.
