How should Perth be preparing for “Day Zero”?

Cape Town is predicted to reach “Day Zero”, when engineers will turn off the the residential water supply, on May 11, 2018.

The four Million residents who live in the South African city will have to queue at one of 200 water collection points.

As Cape Town shares strong parallels with Perth Chris asked Professor Jorg Imberger, former Professor of Environmental Engineering at the University of Western Australia, what our city should be doing to avoid a similar fate.
