Five retired racehorses were shot in a disgusting attack that took place on a remote Goldfields cattle station.

Owner David Broad discovered one horse already dead and four more gravely injured after hearing rifle shots in the morning of Thursday the 24th January. Unfortunately the injured horses could not be saved, the male perpetrator fleeing the scene in a Toyota utility.
