An Adelaide specialist is developing an app that can help people suffering with tinnitus.

Dr John-Charles Hodges is an ear, nose and throat specialist is conducting research on the app and is asking for volunteers to help.

Dr Hodges told 6PR Breakfast 20 per cent of the adult Australian population suffer with tinnitus and explained how they’re working on a treatment.
