Former Westpac CEO Gail Kelly has released a book about her time in business with the big banks and breaking the glass ceiling.

Ms Kelly joined Steve Mills in the 6PR studio on Friday and told Millsy culture is most important with running a big bank.

“When I was the CEO of Westpac I would talk about that by explaining the work that we are seeking to do on culture and I think this is relentless work and it’s critical work. There’s no more important work for a bank CEO and a bank management team and a bank board than to continue to work on the culture,” Ms Kelly told 6PR.
