Freo players could get the nod

Fremantle could stop the Geelong Cats finals hopes when they head to Kardinya Park this Saturday, and the Dockers’ aren’t ruling out anything.

Michael Walters injured his left hamstring during Fremantle’s win over Carlton on Sunday and Fremantle feared he wouldn’t return for the season, but he’s still in the mix for Saturday’s clash.

“He’s got to get through training today. It wasn’t as bad as what he initially thought. He’s been doing all the right things recovery wise, so hopefully he trains today, I’m pretty sure he’ll take his spot,” Brandon Matera told 6PR Breakfast.

Nat Fyfe could also play his first game since Round 15: “I hope so. He trained well last week,” Matera said.
