Dogs’ Refuge desperate for rescues as surrender numbers swell

The Dogs’ Refuge in Shenton park is desperately trying to adopt or foster out dozens of dogs, after a recent influx of surrenders.
The post-Christmas period is notoriously busy for animal shelters.
President Karen Rhodes told Gareth Parker on Mornings they currently have 140 dogs in their care.
