Dog owners who attended the City of Stirling’s Pawesome Day Out on Sunday are being warned to check their pets for virus symptoms.

Ashlea Woodroffe’s Labrador Ernie was in a critical condition yesterday after falling ill and Ashlea’s vet said Ernie may have caught a virus at the event at Carine Regional Open Space.

Ashlea told Gareth Parker other pet owners had shared similar experiences.
