Do WA’s aged-care outbreak plans stand up?

There are fears lives will be put at risk by the WA Health Department’s preference for elderly people infected with COVID-19 to be treated at their aged-care home instead of being sent to hospital.

Health minister Roger Cook says the preference of those in aged-care facility was to stay in their home if possible, however, if acceptable isolation could not be achieved relocating any positive  cases would be done.
