Djokovic through to the third round of the US Open

After a wobbly start in the first set world number one Novak Djokovic is through to the third round of the US Open beating England’s Kyle Edmund 6-7 6-3 6-4 6-2.

Djokovic could be on track for his 18th grand slam with Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer not playing at the event with coronavirus rife in the United States.

He says it’s a big loss for the tournament not having two of the worlds best in New York.

Brad Hardie joins Perth LIVE every afternoon to give you his unique take on the latest news in sport.
