City of Perth yet to see inquiry report

The Commissioners running the City of Perth won’t have access to a report into the dysfunction of the former council until it’s tabled in Parliament.

A two year long inquiry into the former council came to an end yesterday – with the final recommendations now under consideration by the Local Government Minister.

23 people and one organisation have been accused of criminal behaviour, however their identity is under wraps.

Chair Commissioner Andrew Hammond told Oliver Peterson improvements have been made since the council was suspended in 2018.
