The construction industry is concerned we’ll see a subdivision boom as people cash in on federal and state government home building packages.

The housing incentives were aimed at stimulating the economy but the Civil Contractors Federation WA says the state can’t handle the current demand for supplies and tradies.

Federation chief Andy Graham told Gareth Parker on Mornings there’s been a stampede of people wanting to subdivide their homes.
