Can a good feed help prevent crime? Broome NGO Feed the Little Children believes so

Social worker Clint Durham realised most of the Kimberley’s juvenile crime involved children stealing food.

Passionate about making a change, he created Feed the Little Children, a volunteer-run not-for-profit which delivers more than 700 meals a week to struggling Broome families.

Giving children a good feed, he says, can reduce crime, break inter-generational behaviours and increase school attendance.

He joins Karl to talk about the initiative and the difference it’s making to the lives of children in the Kimberley.
