Calling all bakers – Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is back!

2019 marks the 26th year of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.  Every dollar raised helps Cancer Council WA to continue funding life-saving cancer research, running state-wide prevention programs and providing support to West Aussies, when they need it the most. Your cuppa can make a big difference!

The ambassador this year is Jemma Langer. Her mum Joy-Anne had hosted 12 consecutive Biggest Morning Teas but sadly she passed away from cancer in 2017.

Ms Langer wants to honour the hard work her mum had done by being involved in the morning teas. She joined Oliver Peterson live in the studio to talk about this important charity event.

“There’s so many ways the Cancer Council help people going through the cancer journey. Whether it be the individual themselves or the families who are standing alongside supporting them.

“They put a lot into the prevention of cancers and also research work that is pivotal in making those changes for the future.”

The official Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea date is Thursday 23rd May 2019 however you can host one at any time throughout May or June.

Anyone can host an Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.  Register your event at www.biggestmorningtea.com.au and receive a FREE host kit filled with tips, inspiration and delicious recipes.
