Bullying and “lack of respect” getting worse in Aussie schools

Bullying and a “lack of respect for teachers” has increased in Australian schools in the last decade, according to a study by the Australian Council for Educational Research.

ACER deputy chief executive Sue Thomson says students who experienced bullying were often an entire school year behind in their learning and students at state schools were more likely to experience bullying.
