“Blind Freddy” is not offended

Fisheries Minister Dave Kelly says the phrase “Blind Freddy” is offensive, but Blind Citizens WA says although the phrase isn’t popular, politicians should have bigger issues to worry about.

“Simple Simon”, “Lazy Susan”, is anyone offended by these phrases? That’s the question Steve and Baz asked today.

“I don’t think people are offended, we realise that it’s kind of the vernacular and it has it’s origins here in Australia,” Deanne Ferris, the president of Blind Citizens WA, told 6PR Breakfast this morning.
