Signing up for organ donation is easier (and quicker) than ever, all you need is your medicare number and a couple other details and it takes less than a minute.

Minister Ken Wyatt spoke with Steve and Baz on 6PR Breakfast about the changes made to the sign up system and even a South Perth pharmacy has set up a screen for you to sign up while you’re waiting for your prescriptions.

“503 Australian’s last year gave the gift of life to 1713 across this country. It meant that they were able to watch the birth of their children, spend time watching their children grow up and become part of their community again,” Mr Wyatt said.
