A delay of 89 seconds in lodging an application renewal by Fortescue nearly saw Gina Rinehart swoop in and grab a key exploration licence from her rival Andrew Forrest. The stoush headed to the Supreme Court for a judicial ruling where the ruling was in favour of Twiggy’s Fortescue, who had held the license for more than ten years.
