Australia enters recession for the first time in 29 years

The Prime Minister says it’s “devastating” that Australia is in recession, but he’s determined to get the economy moving again.

GDP contracted by 7 per-cent in the three months to June, the worst result since World War Two.

Oliver Peterson spoke with Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA chief economist Aaron Morey about the impact of a recession on Western Australia.
