Ambulance ramping at catastrophic levels

Gareth Parker

Ambulances were parked up outside metropolitan hospitals for more than 30 minutes for more than 3000 hours last month — the worst month for ramping in WA’s history.

AMA WA’s Emergency Medicine Spokesperson, Dr Dave Mountain says that “it is catastrophic for patient care and terrible for grandparents who are the most likely people to be stuck on an ambulance trolley out the front of our ED’s.”
