Airport full of abandoned cars

Millsy & Karl

100 cars have been abandoned at the Perth airport and will be auctioned off if the owners don’t front up.
The Perth airport listed the vehicles in the paper earlier this week so Steve and Baz asked someone what happens with the cars.

“Once a car has been identified as abandoned the car is retained for a further 90 days and durign that period the airport works with the police, the Australian Federal Police and the State Police and also the register of incumbent vehicles to determine who is the owner of the vehicles,” Deb Blaskett, the Perth Airport Chief Corporate Services Officer, told 6PR Breakfast.

Our callers dobbed in a couple of famous dumpers including Hugh Jackman and Mark “Jako” Jackson and one caller admitted to leaving a car.
