Against All Odd: Thai Cave Rescue story

The world held its breath when 12 young soccer players were stuck in a Thai cave last year and two Australian’s were instrumental in the rescue of the young boys.

Dr Craig Challen was a veterinarian and cave diver was one of the rescuers who assisted in the dramatic mission which played out over many days.

“We honestly thought we were going to lose these boys, or at least some of them,” Dr Challen told Steve and Baz on 6PR Breakfast.

Dr Challen and Richard Harris have written a book about their experience, Against All Odds, and says they have been back to visit the boys and their coach.

“The coach is universally admired over there, I haven’t heard a bad word said about him. He did a fantastic job keeping it all together.”
