The music industry and music fans are in mourning today; the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, has died at the age of 76 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Franklin started singing at her church were her father was a preacher her distinctive talents took her to be the first woman to be inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
