A trek to Nepal for mental health

A group of Perth residents have decided to let their feet do the walking for mental health.

All aged over 50, “The Barbarians” have come together to show their support of people with depression by trekking the heights of Nepal and want to raise $200,000 for the Black Dog Institute while walking 24kms a day.

“It’s quite an arduous task for the members that are joining the walk, but it’s what some people face every day of their lives with mental health,” Wendy Harper-Penman told Steve and Baz on 6PR Breakfast.
