A Perth couple is taking legal action against a fostering organisation after it refused to consider their application.

The couple believe their application was rejected on the grounds that as parents they believe identifying as gay, lesbian or bisexual is a sin and they would try to help any child overcome that sin.

The couple’s lawyer John Steenhof joined Gareth Parker to explain the case.
