PM announces grant to support those impacted by the Kimberley floods

With the Kimberley floods continuing to drop, attention is being turned to the cleanup and how to help rebuild the community.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese told 6PR Mornings the government will be funding a $10,000 grant for homeowners impacted by the floods.
Along with the grant the Federal Government in providing aircraft to get supplies in and out of the region.
These grants from the Federal Government are needed as President of the Shire of Derby Geoff Hearewa told 6PR Mornings the Kimberley region needs supplies to help house those displaced by the floods.

Lord Mayor, Basil Zemplis is also providing aid to Kimberley, with the City of Perth donating $10,000 plus any money raised by the people of Perth.
