An email to the Rumour File told us the 76th Sydney to Hobart race could go ahead if State restrictions are lifted, but it could be an Australia only event.

The organisers of the traditional yacht race are currently in talks about how the competition would go ahead on Boxing Day this year.

Commodore Paul Billington told 6PR Breakfast the Rumour File was “reliably informed.”
