A freak, tornado has ripped through City Beach, prompting a flood of calls reporting extensive damage.

Nine News Reporter Bianca Carbone, live at the scene, informed 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that she has observed at least one multi-million-dollar home stripped of its roof.

“We know the damage isn’t limited just to City Beach; suburbs across Perth have been affected by not just these strong winds that have torn down these trees or peeled off these roofs, there was also heavy rain and hail,” she said.
