Over 600 calls were made to emergency services after a short, but strong, storm hit Perth on Tuesday evening.

“Those calls were predominately about fire, about people trapped in cars wanting to be rescued, about gas leaks,” Allan Gayle, DFES District Officer, told 6PR Breakfast

The storm broke through many roofs at shopping centres and, as pictured in this video, Fenway in Subiaco.

The 6PR listeners told Steve and Baz what happened at their place.
