A shocked Perth mum has vented her anger at being told her healthy four-year-old was overweight after being put on the scales at kindergarten. 

Paediatric Dietitian Dr Kyla Smith joined 6PR Afternoons to discuss the situation.

Dr Smith says calculating kids BMI is “problematic” because a child’s size is not necessarily related to their health.
