Perth mother urges parents to learn CPR after harrowing experience

Julie-anne Sprague

Perth mother Krystal Karacsony was home baking a cake when she heard her neighbour screaming, asking if anyone knew first aid for their unconscious 11-month-old.

She told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons these situations are never planned and would recommend first aid training, even if it’s not in person.

“She ran towards me threw her baby in my arms and asked me to help…being able to help in that moment really was the difference between life and death,” Ms Karacsony said.
