It’s been revealed notorious former Hells Angels leader Dayne Brajkovich has been able to buy $27,000 worth of gold from the Perth Mint just by producing his driver’s licence.

Four Corners reporter Angus Grigg told Gary Adshead nothing further was done to scrutinise the transaction made last year.

The Mint is currently being investigated by the financial crimes regulator over concerns the organisation may have breached anti-money laundering laws.

“I think it’s going to be very expensive and potentially embarrassing for the McGowan Government,” Mr Grigg said on 6PR Mornings.
