Pioneering WA football player and coach Graham “Polly” farmer may be honoured with a federal seat named after him, if one Perth MP has his way.

Federal Member for Perth is making the push for the change, and told Karl and Gena on 6PR Breakfast the Graham Farmer Freeway is only one way of honouring Polly’s legacy.

“If we want to get some recognition on the national stage, which I think is appropriate, this would be a great opportunity to do that,” Mr Gorman said.
