A Perth man and his partner were left shaken last week after a brazen thief broke in to their Broome accommodation while they slept, stole their car keys and drove away with the vehicle.

Frank Scardifield told 6PR Breakfast hosts Steve Mills and Oliver Peterson their rental car was stolen along with a couple of Kathmandu jackets, hats and glasses that were left inside the vehicle.

“You feel guilty yourself that you’re a bit stupid and that you weren’t aware,” he said.
