Cyclist Jack Thompson is attempting to break a Guinness world record by cycling the height of Mount Everest.

His goal is to ride one million meters while raising money for three mental health charities.

Mr Thompson told 6PR Breakfast his mission is to help others struggling with their mental health. 

“I want to showcase to people that you can still do incredible things while going through difficult times,” said Mr Thompson.
