On Thursday environmental activist Deanna Violet CoCo was detained after spraypainting the Woodside logo one the Perth Police Centre.

However, WAToday has reported the Magistrate at CoCo’s hearing condemned their views and right to protest.

The Magistrate said people in a democracy are allowed to protest peacefully, but on this occasion, CoCo had gone “too far”.
