New research by Hipages shows that 91% of tradies have increased their home renovation prices in 2022 by 10%.

Stuart Tucker, Chief Customer Officer at Hipages told Oliver Peterson that the increase is due to the impact of tradies costs including staffing costs, material costs and WA’s crazy fuel prices.

“They’ve been hit across the board. They’re worrying about revenue, costs, managing their staff and cash flow. So I think it was inevitable that they needed to pass on some of that cost to their consumers.”
