Police have charged six teenagers (aged 13 to 16) over the alleged stabbing of a 15-year-old at Ellenbrook Secondary College.

City of Swan Councillor Cate McCullough explained to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that the tight-knit community is shocked.

While praising the school for “running a tight ship,” she noted.

“I know that their responses and the police responses led to some fairly quick arrests and management of the situation but it doesn’t make it any easier,” she said.
