Perth firefighter Andrew Strunk has witnessed first hand how Russian forces have no regard for civilians while on the front line in Ukraine’s north.

The military veteran and tireless community worker has been helping local firefighters extract bodies from building rubble.

He told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings he has seen first hand the devastation that Russian president Vladimir Putin’s army has brought locals.

“There are too many examples of indiscriminate shelling, the way that they’re choosing to fight this war… it’s not on,” he said.
